Off The Steps is a parent-and-child water class for ages 12 months to 36 months where you learn right alongside your little one.

The focus is on giving parents the tools and confidence to keep practicing on their own, so the skills we build together in the water carry into the days you spend in the pool between sessions.

Classes run as full weekly sessions, Monday through Thursday. When you sign up for a week, you attend all four days. From there, you choose the weeks that work for you.

Repeat FOUNDATIONS as many times as needed. Each session covers the same core skills, giving you and your child room to practice, grow comfortable, and build confidence.

When your child is ready, you can step up to IMMERSIONS: more advanced skills with the same flexibility, repeatability, and focus on parent-child learning with outside-class practice.

Additional progression steps will be added as demand grows.

No rushing. Just steady progress on a foundation you helped create.

SEE DESCRIPTIONS BELOW

STEP 1: FOUNDATIONS

In four days, parents and children explore the essential building blocks of swimming together. Each session builds on the last — covering water holds, swimming position, breathing cues, kicking, back float, and submersion readiness — all at your child’s pace, with you right there in the water. It’s also a great introduction to swim lessons in general, where parents can ask questions and get the guidance they need.

$140 · Monday–Thursday · Weather makeups on Fridays

STEP 2: IMMERSIONS

IMMERSIONS is for Off The Steps participants who have mastered the breathing cue and are physically and emotionally ready to submerge. Students continue building on the foundations introduced in FOUNDATIONS with deeper focus on submersion, independent movement through the water, and the early mechanics of swimming. More confidence, more water time, more progress.

$140 per class · Monday–Thursday · Weather makeups on Fridays

STEP 3: CONNECTIONS

Connecting submersion skills to backfloat, wall skills, underwater passes, kicking, hands

STEP 4: TRANSITIONS

Toward back rolls, short independent “swims”
